VIDEO JOURNALIST

Born in Ukraine, growing up in Israel, working in France, and immigrating to the U.S., one of the hardest questions for me to answer is always,"where are you from?"
Currently, I am on the video team at The Washington Post, where I produce, film and edit short documentaries, reporter-on-camera explainers, and scripted vertical and horizontal videos for washingtonpost.com and its social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram and TikTok (where you can find me on-camera too!). I was part of a Washington Post team that won a Pulitzer Prize for breaking news coverage of the 2024 Trump assassination attempt.
Previously, I produced long and short-form videos for Business Insider as a Video Production Fellow, and I contributed reporting to BI’s News team covering the Israel-Gaza war.
Before moving to the U.S., I was an editor and reporter with Keshet 12's MAKO in Tel Aviv. And in 2019, while living in Paris, I covered the Notre Dame Cathedral fire and the Yellow Vest protests, live on national Israeli TV.
I have a B.A. in Comparative Literature and Society from Columbia University, and I am fluent in Hebrew and Russian (and I can have a chat with you in French!).
